Your About page heading structure helps patients find individual practitioners quickly and helps Google index each person's name and credentials separately. A well-structured About page ranks for trust-based searches like "licensed physiotherapists in North Vancouver" and gives patients the confidence to book before they have even met your team. This guide walks you through how to set up the correct heading structure on your About page.

Before you start

You will need Admin access to Jane Websites to make these changes. Always follow the H1 to H2 to H3 order, so you should never skip levels, and never use more than one H1 on the page.

How to Set Your About Page H1

Your H1 should name your team and location clearly so patients and Google know immediately who this page is about and where they practice.

  1. Once you're logged in to Jane Websites, navigate to your About page and click the Customize Header button on the hero block at the top of the page.
  2. Scroll till you reach the Override Heading field and set your H1 using this formula:
Meet Our [Profession] Team | [Location].
For example: "Meet Our Registered Massage Therapy Team in Vancouver" or "Meet Our Physio Team in North Vancouver."
  3. If you have a larger multi-disciplinary team, use this formula instead:
Our [Specialty] Team in [Location] | [Clinic Name].
For example: "Meet Our Integrated Care Team in Vancouver | Peak Wellness."
  4. Next, scroll till you reach the Override Subheading field. This Subheading field is regarded as an H2 and is an expansion of the H1 above it. Make sure the H2 here is broad, clear, and benefit-driven. Learn more about H2s in the next section.
For example: "Experienced, compassionate practitioners dedicated to your care."
  5. Click the Save Custom Header button to save your progress.

How to Set Your About Page H2s

Your H2s organize the major sections of your About page and make it easy for patients to navigate to the information they need.

  1. Navigate to your About page and click the Pencil Icon on each block you want to update.
  2. In this block, the Heading section is considered an H2. If this block is a team philosophy section, set your H2 to something like "Our Approach to Care" or "How We Work With You." If this block is a practitioners section, set your H2 to something like "Our Practitioners" or "Meet the Team." If this block is a credentials section, set your H2 to something like "Credentials & Training" or "Our Qualifications." If this block is a why-choose-us section, set your H2 to something like "Why Choose Our Team."
  3. Once you've made those changes, click the Save Block button to save your progress.

How to Set Your About Page H3s

Your H3s are where individual practitioner information lives. Each H3 should include the practitioner's name and credentials so Google can index them separately.

  1. Navigate to your About page and click the Pencil Icon on each section block you want to update.
  2. In this block, the Subheading section is considered an H3. If you have a block that has a practitioners H2, set an H3 for each individual practitioner using this formula:
    [Practitioner Name], [Credentials] — [Specialty].
For example: "Sarah Chen, RMT — Sports Massage Specialist" or "David Park, RMT — Prenatal & Postnatal Care."
If you have a block that has a credentials H2, set an H3 for each individual certification or training area you want to highlight.
  3. Never jump from H1 to H3. Always move through heading levels in order.
  4. Once you've made those changes, click the Save Block button to save your progress.

You're all set! Your About page now has a clear heading structure that helps patients find your team and helps Google index each practitioner's name and credentials. A strong H1, organized H2s, and descriptive H3s are crucial piece of the pie for good on-page SEO and yours is now in place.

Note

If a practitioner joins or leaves your clinic, update their H3 heading and bio promptly. An outdated team listing can undermine the trust your About page is designed to build.
